Pickupp plugin on Shopify is now LIVE on Shopify App Store and you can install it for free!

This plugin integrates your Shopify dashboard with Pickupp platform, so you can create delivery orders right from your admin panel—no need to leave the Shopify page anymore!

 

Sounds amazing? Let’s get started:

Firstly, install Pickupp Delivery Service plugin from Shopify App Store or from tab ‘Apps’ from your Shopify panel.

 

Choose your region (Malaysia) and login to your Pickupp account. If you do not have a Pickupp account yet, click ‘Register’ and sign up for your own Pickupp account first.

Once your Pickupp account is linked to Shopify store, you are ready to start fulfilling your orders with Pickupp!

 

 

There are 2 ways to place delivery orders with Pickupp:

A.  Method 1: From Pickupp App on Shopify

(1)  From Pickupp App order list, select the particular orders and click ‘Send order

(2)  This will bring you to a delivery order creation form, where you can enter additional relevant information for this delivery, such as pick up & drop off information, item details, notes to delivery agents, etc.

Click ‘Submit’ once delivery information is complete.

(3)  Congratulations! You have successfully scheduled a delivery for your Shopify order!

Don’t forget to indicate the QR/passcode on your parcel and track your delivery status on the link provided.

The activity log of this order will be shown on the ‘Timeline’.

B.  Method 2: From Shopify Admin page

(1)  From Shopify Admin page, click on tab ‘Orders’ and select particular order that you would like to send with Pickupp.

(2)  On the order details page, click the dropdown list ‘More actions’ and select ‘Send with Pickupp’.

(3)  This will bring you to a delivery order creation form, where you can enter additional relevant information for this delivery, such as pick up & drop off information, item details, notes to delivery agents, etc.

Click ‘Submit’ once delivery information is complete.

(4)  Congratulations! You have successfully scheduled a delivery for your Shopify order!

Don’t forget to indicate the QR/passcode on your parcel and track your delivery status on the link provided.

The activity log of this order will be shown on the ‘Timeline’.

Recommended Settings for Optimised User Experience:

There are several options that can be updated to further improve the experience to user and store manager.

Settings on the checkout form can be found at Shopify Admin Page  >  Settings  >  Checkout

 

(1)  Specify ‘Address line 2’ and ‘Shipping address phone number’ to Required’

The key to a reliable delivery is to get the most detailed and accurate address information from customers. Having a channel to reach out and confirm shipping address details is always a good practice.

(2)  Do not automatically fulfill any of the order’s line items

Since the orders will be fulfilled through Pickupp Delivery Service, the app will auto create fulfillment on orders that has been delivered.

(3)  Enable address autocompletion

Enabling this option will utilise Google auto-complete on Shipping address line 1 in checkout form. This will ensure address input from customers are accurate and recognisable.
